Something extraordinary happens when you combine
the power of ultrasound engineering and cytopathology.

A dramatically improved sample for dysplasia and cancer screening.

It all starts with LINFU®

A brief, extracorporeal application of a specially designed, FDA cleared, low intensity, non-focused ultrasound (“LINFU®”) beam, can significantly increase the natural rate of epithelial cell exfoliation into a surrounding body fluid – enhancing cytological specimens used to screen for dysplasia and cancer.

“Obtaining large sheets of exfoliated, unabraided pancreatic ductal cells from pancreatic juice as shown in the attached figures is unprecedented in pancreatic cytology…

Utilizing extracorporeal ultrasound to induce epithelial exfoliation
to provide this type of highly cellular sample without entering the pancreas represents a potentially important advance in our ability
to perform effective, non-invasive, screening for early pancreatic cancer.”
